Our Psychiatry Services

Initial Evaluation

1. Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

Every new patient begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. During this appointment, we review your symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, current concerns, and treatment goals. This evaluation allows us to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

An initial evaluation is required before medication management services can begin.

Medication Management IMHC

2. Medication Management

If medication is clinically appropriate, ongoing medication management appointments are scheduled to monitor effectiveness, adjust dosages, and ensure safety. Our approach is thoughtful and evidence-based, with close follow-up to support long-term stability.

Psychotherapy

3. Psychotherapy

We provide psychotherapy (talk therapy) either as a standalone service or in combination with medication management. Therapy helps address underlying thought patterns, emotional challenges, and behavioral concerns contributing to mental health symptoms.

Specialty Service

Military Services

Veteran Disability Compensation Evaluations (Private Pay)

Our practice offers select military-related mental health evaluation and documentation services on a private-pay basis only.

These services are limited to mental health–related matters and may include:
• DBQ screening and evaluations
• Nexus letter preparation (when clinically appropriate)

Nexus letters are provided only after a comprehensive review of available medical records, relevant supporting documentation, and completion of a clinical evaluation, as determined necessary by the provider.

Fees typically range from $500 to $750 depending on case complexity, record volume, and time required. Payment is required according to practice policy and may be due prior to record review or report preparation.

These services do not guarantee disability benefits, claim approval, or any specific outcome with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or any other agency. Our practice does not provide legal representation or legal advice. All clinical opinions are based solely on the provider’s independent professional judgment and available documentation.
